My Ops Moments Confession…What About Yours?
Some Little Ops Moments That I Will Always Giggle,
Do you believe in failure? Or do you cheer failure?
Maybe some people believe in failure but very few people cheer for failure. I admire the people who cheer for failure. Let me tell you why.
Those who believe in failure can achieve their goals or they can fail again and give up, but those who cheer for failure must achieve their goals because they enjoy every step towards their journey they don’t bother about their success they enjoy their journey so obviously they don’t stop walking and doesn’t give up.
Now I am telling you some cheering failure stories that made me more passionate about my goals & and those are quite funny too!
When I first started experimenting with cuisine, I wanted to make some fluffy pancakes for breakfast. As I started gathering the ingredients, I saw a new bottle of maple syrup sitting on the counter. I was extremely excited to test it, so I grabbed it and poured it over my wonderfully golden pancakes. To my horror, instead of a smooth flow of syrup, a gel-like substance landed on my food with a loud thud. It turns out that I had confused a container of hair gel for syrup! Poor me, I had to start again.
On another day, I was planning to impress my guests with homemade lasagna for dinner. I carefully followed the instructions, layering pasta, sauce, cheese, and all of the delectable toppings.
However, in my excitement, I accidentally grabbed a can of cinnamon and a can of condensed milk instead of oregano and white sauce, which I lavishly piled and sprinkled all over the lasagna. When the dish came out of the oven, the aroma of fragrant cinnamon and condensed milk flooded the room, confusing my guests. Finally, I found that I made a sweet lasagna; my bad for the mess, but my family and guests and appreciated my try & enjoyed the dish as a dessert instead.
A few years ago I wanted to make a simple yet different fusion dish with vermicelli. Actually, I wanted to make spaghetti using vermicelli (though it was my younger brother’s idea which was a big mess) but you know vermicelli is supposed to be made as a sweet dish. I made the vermicelli spaghetti following his instructions. You won’t believe it was a huge mess my brother and I were just shocked it was a disaster. We burst into laughter.
But maybe the most funny & unforgettable mess was a birthday cake surprise. I wanted to surprise Naz, my best friend, with a wonderfully made cake. I spent hours delicately frosting and decorating the cake in beautiful designs. Just as I was about to add the finishing touch, I slipped and sent the cake flying over the room, leaving a multicolored trail of frosting on the walls, ceiling, and even myself. I stood there, covered in melted cake, embarrassed and amused. Yet, I didn’t let the mishap spoil the entire surprise party. With the help of my friends, we cleaned up the mess, laughed our hearts out, and gave Naz a slightly less perfect but lovely cherished cake.
Although these embarrassing kitchen mishaps, I never gave up my passion for cooking. In fact, I loved the messes and learned to find happiness in unexpected moments. My kitchen actually became a home for laughter, creativity, and funny stories. Now I am 32 years old even though I make silly mistakes and I really enjoy this learning process. So what about yours?
I really want to know about your stories that made your lovely memories!
