Sweet Egg Yolk Balls Recipe| Yummiest Sweet Tooth Treat

If you are planning to make some amazing dessert for your next house party which must be unique & easy to make with handy ingredients. This recipe is for you. The egg yolk balls are one of the delicacies that children love the most.

This is one of my best fusion recipes, however, I can’t quite remember where the idea came from. This concept may have originated from the opportunity I got to sample some delectable laddoos during my travels in India. But I didn’t refer to any recipes for laddoo made with eggs.

My younger brother asked me to create something special a few months after I returned from my trip to India. That’s when I came up with the Egg Yolk Balls, just to make him happy. We were surprised to find that it was a delicious treat. That dish has grown to be one of my family’s favorites since then, and I make it often. Egg yolks, powdered milk, sugar, butter, and dried fruits are the major ingredients.

Ingredients: (6 to 10 Servings)

  • 2 tbsp. of unsalted butter
  • 20 egg yolks well beaten
  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • Half a cup of evaporated milk
  • 1 large cup of sugar
  • Pinch of cardamom powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp. chopped pistachios
  • 2 tbsp. chopped cashew nut or almond
  • 1 tsp. melted unsalted butter (For making balls)
  • 2 tbsp. powder milk (For garnishing)

Instructions:

  1. Get a big mixing bowl & mix well all the ingredients without pistachios & cashew nuts.
  2. Heat a large saucepan & put the butter.
  3. When the butter is melted add the mixture & stir constantly.
  4. Please don’t stop stirring otherwise it may burn immediately.
  5. When you see the mixture bind together & you can shape a ball of this mixture (it will take 20 to 30 minutes approx.) add the chopped pistachios & cashew nuts & mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to another bowl.
  7. Take some melted butter in your hand & smoothly rub it for a second.
  8. Now use your hand, take some mixture, and round it with your hands & shape it like a small ball.
  9. After making all the balls transfer them to a dry plate & coat them with powdered milk.
  10. Your delicious sweet egg yolk balls are ready to serve but try to keep them refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Have fun!

Note: The best part of these sweet balls is you can make them 2 to 3 days before your party & refrigerate them in an air-tight box.

Cheers to Fusion Cooking!
